Before adding Zigbee devices or other smart home products to the system, we strongly recommend updating the Akubela monitor to the latest firmware version. Keeping the monitor up to date ensures optimal performance, compatibility, and access to the latest features.
Upgrading the Firmware
In the left-hand menu, navigate to Device and select Update. Then click Add in the upper-right corner of the page.
In the update window, locate your project in the list on the left and move it to the right-hand panel.
Next:
- Select the Project Name, and move to the right field
- Select the Product Name.
- Select the desired firmware version.
- The available devices matching the selected model will appear in the device list below.
- Select the device(s) you want to upgrade.
- Click Submit to schedule the firmware update.
End User Confirmation
By default, firmware updates require confirmation from the end user before the upgrade process begins.
After the update task has been submitted, the user will receive a notification on the monitor and must approve the update before it can proceed.
