IP cameras can be added directly from an Akubela monitor, making it easy to integrate video surveillance into the smart home system.
Automatic Camera Discovery
From the monitor's home screen, tap All Rooms, and then select the + icon in the upper-right corner.
The monitor will automatically scan the local network for compatible IP cameras and display any discovered devices.
Once the desired camera is found, select it and follow the on-screen instructions to add it to the system.
Manually Adding an IP Camera
If the camera is not detected automatically, it can be added manually.
Navigate to Security, IP Camera and select Add via RTSP Address.
Enter the camera's RTSP stream URL along with any required authentication details, such as the username and password.
After saving the configuration, the camera feed will be available through the Akubela monitor and can be viewed from the Security section.
Adding an NVR
If an NVR is supported by the monitor, it can be added using the same process. The monitor will either discover the NVR automatically during the network scan or allow it to be added manually using the relevant connection details provided by the NVR manufacturer.
Once added, the monitor can display live video streams from the connected cameras managed by the NVR.
