Akubela – 01 - Creating a single tenant.
Before You Begin
Before getting started, you will need an Akuvox Installer Account.
If you do not already have an account, you can create one by visiting the following page:
Once your account has been created, you can log in and start managing projects through the Akuvox cloud platform.
Getting Started with Akuvox eCloud
In this training, we will be working with eCloud, the European cloud platform provided by Akuvox for device and project management.
After logging in to eCloud, you will have the option to select the Akubela Configuration Page.
Why Use the Akubela Configuration Page?
Akubela is Akuvox's home automation brand, designed to integrate not only Akuvox devices but also compatible products from third-party manufacturers.
In most cases, customers choose Akubela displays and devices not only because of their modern design but also because of the advanced home automation features they offer.
If a project only uses an Akuvox door station together with an Akubela monitor for its appearance, and there is no requirement for home automation functions, we recommend using the Akuvox Configuration Page instead. The devices can then be added and managed in the same way as a standard Akuvox intercom system.
Using the Akubela Configuration Page is recommended when the project will make use of Akubela's smart home and automation capabilities.
Creating a Single-Tenant Project
To create a new single-tenant project, navigate to Project in the left-hand menu and select Single Tenant. Then click Add.
On the next screen, select New Project and click Submit.
Adding a Home to the Project
Once the project has been created, the next step is to add a home.
Open the project and click Detail, then select Add New Home.
Enter the required home details, including the MAC address of the main monitor.
To locate the monitor's MAC address, you can use the Akuvox IP Scanner software, which scans the local network and displays all detected Akuvox devices along with their MAC addresses.
