To install an Akubela monitor, open the project and navigate to the Home Name: Home that was created in the previous article.
Click Install to begin the installation process.
A new window will open displaying the Device Installation Code. You will also have the option to download the installation code list.
Downloading the list is recommended, especially for projects with multiple monitors, as it allows you to keep track of the installation codes assigned to each device.
What Is an Installation Code?
An installation code is a unique activation code generated for a specific Akubela monitor model.
This code is used to link the monitor directly to the correct project and home within the Akubela cloud platform.
How Does It Work?
When powering on an Akubela monitor for the first time, you will be guided through the initial setup process, including language selection and basic configuration.
During the setup wizard, you will be presented with two installation methods:
- Installation Code
- Auto Discovery
For this guide, we will use the Installation Code method.
Select Installation Code and enter the code generated in the Akubela cloud portal.
Once the code has been verified, the monitor will automatically connect to the cloud and be added to the corresponding project and home.
No additional manual registration is required.
