In addition to monitors, the Akubela platform allows you to add a wide range of devices to a project, including:
- Smart home devices
- Intercom devices
- Access control devices
- Smart locks
- Cameras
- NVRs
To add a new device, open the project and click Detail.
Adding a Smart Home Device
Click Add to create a new device entry.
Select the correct device model from the list.
If you are adding a second monitor to the project, please note that the Device Role cannot be modified and will be assigned automatically.
Enter a device name, select the installation location, and then click Submit.
Activating the Device
After the device has been created, return to the project overview and get the Installation Code for the new device.
To complete the activation, follow the same installation procedure described in Article 02 – Monitor Activation / Installation. Once the installation code has been entered on the device, it will automatically be linked to the project and become available within the Akubela platform.
