MicroSIP VoIP SIP Softphone Configuration
Before configuring MicroSIP, ensure that the PBX service is already configured and running on the AK-S567.
Please refer to the PBX VoIP Function AK-S567 article to complete the PBX setup on the AK-S567 monitor.
Step 1: Download and Install MicroSIP
Download and install the MicroSIP Softphone on your computer.
Step 2: Add a SIP Account
- Open MicroSIP.
- Click the down arrow next to the account selection field.
- Select Add Account.
Step 3: Configure the SIP Account
Enter the account details created on the AK-S567 PBX server, including:
- SIP Server: IP address of the AK-S567 monitor
- Port: PBX SIP port configured on the monitor
- Username: PBX extension number
- Password: PBX extension password
In this example, the SIP server is configured to use port 5070.
Configure the settings as shown in the example below.
Once the account information has been entered and saved, MicroSIP should register successfully with the AK-S567 PBX server and be ready to place and receive calls from other registered extensions.
