To make a one-way call with the AK-VPRG49 to multiple Akuvox devices simultaneously, which is called a broadcast, the following steps must be taken:
1) In the AK-VPRG49 web component, under the Phone tab --> Preference --> Homepage, the broadcast icon must be enabled.
2) In the Phone tab --> Ext Key, select Type as Multicast paging, configuring the label and the multicast address. This address must consist of an IP between 224.0.1.0 and 224.0.1.255, with a port around 20000.
NOTE: Starting from FW version 49.30.10.83, an audio file can be uploaded (Format: .wav / Size: less than 200 MB / File name: less than 64 characters) to play this pre-recorded message as a broadcast at a scheduled time.
3) In the web component of all monitors that will receive this type of call, the same listening address must be specified. In the web component, under the Phone tab --> Multicast, this address must be entered, matching the one used on the AK-VPRG49.
4) After this, the broadcast icon will appear on the main screen of the AK-VPRG49 to start this type of call.
