TrueSense artificial intelligence with human and vehicle classification in Safire equipment can be performed by both IP cameras and recorders, independently, and without the need for a front end - back end scheme
- If the camera does not have intelligent events, the recorder is the one that will perform the event and, therefore, will "spend" one of its analytics channels. The recorders, depending on the model or range, have a limited number of analytics channels, so if the recorder management is used, they will be consumed.
Then the intelligent event is activated in the desired channel, in this case the camera does not have this type of analytics, so the line crossing or area intrusion does not appear:
By activating the "Enable AI by Device" checkbox, the recorder is the one who will perform the event management and both line crossing and intrusion can be configured:
At this point, one of the analytics channels will have been consumed
- If the camera has intelligent events (such as AI2 cameras with Trusense), the "Enable AI by Device" checkbox of the recorder will not be activated, so that the configuration made from the recorder for line crossing, etc. will actually be configured in the camera and the event will be generated by the camera and received by the NVR:
That configuration is stored in the camera:
And it does not consume an analytics channel in the recorder
