Milesight LPR Camera Configuration

To configure a Milesight LPR camera, simply follow these easy steps in the numbered order shown.

You need to connect to the camera via the local IP using a web browser and follow these steps.

The camera is now set to read license plates. This can be verified in the following section:

The next section shows the option to save license plates to a whitelist, blacklist, or other lists.

It is always recommended to insert a microSD card into the LPR camera for later retrieval of recorded license plates.

LPR CAMERA CONFIGURATION FOR SENDING READINGS TO THE NVR

For the camera to send readings to a Milesight NVR it is added to, enable these functions:

• Data Transmission - Post - Post Settings - Enable both HTTP and TCP

• Data Transmission - Post - Data Settings - Set to Original

• Data Transmission - More - Check the box for "Metadata Transmission"
