ADDING IP CAMERAS
To add IP cameras to Safire Smart NVRs, access the control panel and go to the Add Cameras section:
Cameras can be added from quick or manual mode
- Quick mode: The NVR will search for cameras on the network, allowing you to select and add them directly.
With this method, be careful with the passwords of the cameras, as the recorder will set its own, so it is important to specify the passwords of the cameras in the next section.
- Manual Mode: Is to add the camera manually to the NVR, specifying IP, protocol, port, user and password. This method is usually more advisable, as there is no way for the NVR not to specify the password of the equipment correctly. The recorder provides the following communication protocols
- Safire Smart - For Safire Smart cameras
- Onvif - Standard protocol for communication with third-party cameras
- Hikvision - For adding Hikvision and Safire cameras (Onvif communication port)
- Dahua - For Dahua and X-Security cameras (Onvif communication port)
- Custom - For adding cameras via RTSP
- Adding an NVR: Allows you to add the channels of other Safire Smart recorders. In the same section, the NVR will detect the other recorders. The recorder will be added and the channels to be added will be selected.
