First Access & Login
Download and run the IP-Tool (request from supplier). It scans the local network and lists all discovered decoders with their IP address, HTTP port, and MAC address.
- Run IP-Tool and double-click the decoder entry — the browser opens automatically.
- Accept the privacy statement and select the interface language.
- Activate the device: default username is admin. Set a strong password (uppercase + lowercase + numbers + special characters, min. 8 digits).
- Log in with admin and the password you just created.
Video Management local on Decoder
Add cameras quickly
Video Settings > Video > Quickly Add. The decoder scans the LAN and lists available devices. Select the desired cameras, enter username, password, and channel number, then click OK.
Adding cameras manually
Video Settings > Video > Manually Add tab. Select type (IPC / NVR / DVR / ONVIF / RTSP), enter IP, port, channel, and credentials. Click the test icon to verify connectivity, then click Add. Maximum 2048 devices supported.
Creating camera groups for tour/sequence display
Video Settings > Video Group > Add. Enter a group name, set the dwell time (e.g. 10 seconds), select the cameras to include, then click OK. Maximum 128 groups supported.
Assign cameras to monitor outputs
Output Settings > Output. Drag the desired HDMI output from the list on the right to the corresponding window slot in the layout to bind it.
Split modes
1 / 4 / 9 / 16 / 25 / 36 / 64 channel display modes are available.
Start decoding on a specific output
Three methods are available in Decoding Settings:
- Draw a window (right-click + drag on output area) then drag a camera from the video list into it.
- Select a split mode and drag the NVR/device node directly to fill all windows automatically.
- Select a split mode, hold Ctrl to select multiple channels from the same device, then drag them to the window.
Configuration of the decoder for a multi-screen video wall
- Set this unit as Master: System Settings > Basic > Mode > Master.
- Affiliation Settings > Refresh > add slave decoders with +.
- In Output Settings, click the grid icon to set row/column layout (max 10x10).
Note: Maximum 63 slave decoders per master. Total manageable decoders: 64.
Monitor resolution
System Settings > Basic > Monitor 1/2/3/4 Resolution. Select the appropriate resolution for each connected display.
Note: HDMI1 supports up to 8K (7680x4320). When HDMI1 is set to 8K, HDMI2 is disabled. HDMI1, 2, and 3 support 4K.

Platform Integration Safire Smart VMS
Mode for platform integration
The decoder must be set to Master mode: System Settings > Basic > Mode > Master.
How do I add the decoder to Safire Smart VMS platform
- Set the decoder to Master mode.
- Configure the network (IP must be in the same subnet as the VMS server; Data Port default: 8888).
- In VMS: Add Device > select Decoder > Quickly Add or Manually Add > enter IP and port.
- TV Wall Management > Add TV wall > bind decoder > verify online status.
Note: As long as the decoder is not bound to a TV Waö, it will be display as offline.
TV Wall configuration Safire Smart
Create TV Wall
- Go to Home > TV Wall Management > Edit TV Wall.
- Select a TV wall server and click the create button.
- Set the TV wall name, display matrix, and TV wall number.
- Click [Draw] to draw the layout manually.
Bind decoders and outputs to a TV wall
- Click [Next] to open the decoder binding interface.
- Click + next to a decoder in the left list to bind it.
- If no decoders appear, click the shortcut link to jump to the decoder adding interface and add one first.
- Wait a few seconds for the connection — outputs appear under the decoder name once connected.
- Drag an output to a window slot to bind it.
- Click [Finish] to save.
Create TV Wall Plan
Click beside the TV wall name or click [Create Plan] to create a new plan for the created TV wall.
Configure and display a decoding plan on the TV wall
- Double-click a plan name to load it into the left window.
- Drag monitoring points to the corresponding windows to start decoding.
- Click Save to store the plan.
Auto-Switch Group
Click Auto-Switch Group under the screen and then click to create auto-switch group.
Select “Auto-Switch Window” to select the window group.
Click [Next] to select the auto-switch channel group
Enter auto-switch name, dwell time and Execute auto-switch.
