This function allows certain functions of the recorder not to be executed depending on whether the unit is armed or disarmed.
There are 3 default modes to select:
- No disarming: All disarming link elements are not activated.
- Periodic disarming: By clicking on configuration you can set the effective disarming time and when it will take effect.
- One-time deactivation: The disarming linking element is always active, and neither intelligent services nor alarm services will activate the configured linking element.
ACTIONS TO DEACTIVATE WITH DISARMING
- Buzzer - The recorder's own beeping sound
- Send Email - Sending the event email
- Push Alarm - Sending of Push notification
- Alarm Sound - The acoustic warning of the cameras with this function will be deactivated
- Alarm Light - The light warning of the cameras with this function will be deactivated
- Alarm Output - Selection of the relays that are not to be activated during disarming
ARMING BY ALARM INPUT - Only physical input 1 of the recorder can be used
In case you want to arm and disarm by an alarm input of the recorder, which is the most interesting option, you will first have to configure the desired alarm input with the"Disarm by Switch" mode
From the activation of the alarm input to be used for arming and disarming, a new option will be enabled in "One Key Disarming", which is to use the alarm input:
This "Disarm by Switch" checkbox will be disabled because, while the recorder is Armed the mode will be OFF, and upon disarming it will automatically switch to Disarm By Switch. This switch between OFF and Disarm by Switch will continuously change on the recorder depending on whether the recorder is armed or disarmed.
Example - One Key alarm input set to NO
- When the alarm contact is OPEN, the system will be Armed and ALL actions for each event will be triggered. When the system is armed, the One Key section of the recorder will be in OFF mode
- When the alarm contact is CLOSED, the system will be Disarmed, so the recorder will stop performing all actions that have been selected. In this case, when the system is disarmed, the One Key section will automatically switch to DISARM BY SWITCH
ARMING BY APP
This arming can also be done with the APP, to do so with UNV Link, click on the shield icon:
Depending on the status, in the recorder section you can also see if it is armed or disarmed (the same as with the One Key by alarm input), but the disarming will be set with the Disarm By Schedule option:
If you use the mode by alarm input, in the APP the shield icon will be changing the status depending on how the alarm input is, so that you can always know the status of the recorder, whether armed or disarmed.
You can also use the two operating modes, by alarm input and by APP, so that if the unit is armed and is disarmed by the APP, the unit will be disarmed even if the alarm input is in the armed mode.
If, then, the alarm input status changes to Disarmed (the equipment was already disarmed by APP so there will be no change) but changes back to Armed, then the system will be armed by alarm input.
Note: The relay outputs, once activated because the equipment is armed, will remain activated until the set time expires, even if it is disarmed in the meantime.
