Adding a second plate in a SAFIRE video-intercom system is very easy.
There are two procedures. In this first procedure, we will add the second outer plate as a doorphone to our screen.
PROCEDURE 1
The sequence of actions to perform is the following:
- Define the second external board as SLAVE.
- Activate the board from the SADP software or from the SAFIRE CONTROL CENTER management software.
- Configure an IP address for the plate that is valid and that respects the IP range of the network.
- Once the plate is in our network, we have to add it to the SAFIRE CONTROL CENTER.
Step 1 - Click on the remote settings of the SCREEN.
Then we will navigate to the NETWORK / LINKED NETWORK CONFIGURATION menu and to the Doorphone IP Address option, where we'll insert the IP address of our second external plate.
Step 2 - In our test, our second outdoor plate (Doorphone) has the IP address 192.168.1.223
That's it, the system is already configured, there's no need to change anything else.
This is the quickest and easiest way to set up a second outer plate (Doorphone) to our screen.
Remember that if we had a second screen as a slave to the first one, we would not need to change anything, we just change the IP address on the MASTER screen.

PROCEDURE 2
The second procedure consists of applying the SLAVE mode to the second external plate (Doorphone),
accessing the remote configuration of our external panel (Doorphone).
Next, we have to go to the INTERCOM / ID CONFIGURATION
Within the marked tab we must insert the number 1.
After inserting number 1 we click on SAVE and a message will appear indicating that our device will reboot because we applied the change to SLAVE.
After rebooting, we will access again the remote settings and go to the option NETWORK / LINKED NETWORK CONFIGURATION; we will apply the IP address of our MAINBOARD in this field (MAIN) DOOR STATION IP ADDRESS.
In our case the IP address is 192.168.1.221
This is enough, once the IP in that field is set, we click on SAVE and try it.
No need to reboot, the system would already be working.
If it doesn't work, the only thing to check is the IP address of the main station.
