In order for the SekureId-EasyClocking devices to connect to the cloud, we have to configure as always the IP address, mask and gateway; by default all devices are set by DHCP so we would not have to make many configurations.
On the other hand, there is an option within the system menu called "Server Configuration" that must have one of these options selected
- 204.11.236.132 / 443 - most recommended
- 204.11.236.181 / 5011
If everything is correct, the terminal should connect to the cloud. We could check it by the computer screen, where we will have the icon highlighted in red without an X, or by the tab Computers of the software the device appears in green:
Once the device is online the time is automatically updated, since we have had to assign it the Location (which contains the GMT we are in). In case we don't get the correct date and time, in the Settings section we will have to configure the geolocation option:
Then we point the location of the equipment to the geolocation that we have just configured:
This way we can indicate the device that in addition to GMT+1 its location is a specific one.
If we still don't have the correct time, it will only be necessary to restart it.
