For this procedure, it is recommended to use the Microsoft Edge web browser.
What do you need?
- A Windows PC or laptop
- Microsoft Edge web browser
- Access to the NVR web interface
- The NVR username and password
Step 1: Access the NVR Web Interface
Open the NVR web interface using either:
- The NVR IP address, or
- The AutoNAT (P2P) connection
Log in with the NVR Username and Password.
Step 2: Open Playback
- Click Playback.
- Select the camera or cameras you want to review.
- Select the desired date.
- Click Search.
- Click Play to start playback.
Step 3: Select the Video Clip
The timeline can be zoomed in for a more accurate time selection.
- Navigate to the start time of the event.
- Click Pause. Click the left scissors icon to mark the beginning of the clip.
- Select the desired start point on the timeline.
- Navigate to the end time of the event.
- Click the right scissors icon to mark the end of the clip.
Once both points have been selected, click Download.
Step 4: Configure the Download
A new download window will appear.
Destination Options
- Local: Saves the video clip to the computer currently being used.
- Remote Device: Saves the video clip to a storage device connected to the NVR.
Note: To save a video clip on the NVR, a USB storage device must be connected to the NVR.
- Select Local as the destination.
- For local downloads, only the AVI format is available.
- Choose the folder where the video clip should be saved on the PC.
- Click OK to start the download.
Step 5: Complete the Download
Wait for the download to finish.
Important: Do not close the download window or browser tab immediately after the download reaches 100%. Closing it too soon may interrupt the export process.
Once completed, the video clip will be available in the selected folder on your PC.
