Important: Only the SF-IPB070A-4WE-WIFIKIT cameras included in the kit can be added directly to the NVR using the built-in Wi-Fi pairing function.
Other Safire Smart Wi-Fi camera models cannot be paired through this method. These cameras must first be connected to the local network through Wi-Fi and then added to the NVR in the same way as standard IP cameras connected via Ethernet.
Accessing the Camera Configuration Menu
Log in to the NVR using the administrator username and password created during the initial setup.
Note: This guide uses the NVR's local interface with a monitor and mouse connected directly to the recorder. Some options, such as Repeater Settings, are currently unavailable through the web interface and can only be accessed locally. This may change in future firmware releases.
For convenience, you can enable the Log In Automatically option.
Once logged in:
- Select Settings.
- Open the Camera tab.
- Click Add Camera.
Automatic Camera Discovery
As soon as the Add Camera tab Wi-Fi Match window opens, the NVR automatically begins searching for compatible SF-IPB070A-4WE-WIFIKIT cameras.
No additional configuration is required. Any powered-on kit cameras within range will be detected and added automatically.
When all available Wi-Fi cameras have been discovered and added, you can either:
- Close the window manually, or
- Allow the countdown timer to expire automatically.
Camera Connection Status
After the cameras have been added, wait approximately 5 seconds for them to establish communication with the NVR.
Once the connection process is complete, the cameras will change to Online status and live video will become available.
The Wi-Fi cameras are now successfully connected to the NVR and ready for recording and remote access.
