The following article is going to explain the operation of the "Stay Closed" option that the software presents in the section Access Control -> Advanced Functions -> Stay Open/Close.
This function allows you to set the days of the week, as well as the hours of each day when the door governed by the corresponding access control is closed. No user, even if they have valid and valid credentials, will be able to access it.
When the authorized user identifies himself at the access control, he will receive an affirmative message that he can access the door, but the relay linked to the door will not be activated, preventing the door from opening.
However, there is one exception to this operation: the superuser. Anyone with this type of permission will be able to open the door, regardless of whether the "Stay Closed" option is enabled.
