The UPS-RELAYCARD device allows to activate relay outputs according to events occurring to the UPS.
The connection will always be between the common and the PIN corresponding to the desired event and this will provide a voltage free contact
- UPS on - UPS on
- AC fail - UPS power failure
- Batt low - Battery low
- UPS alarm - Low voltage, UPS overloaded
- Bypass altive - Power passes through the UPS without any type of regulation
- UPS fail - Disconnection of the EPO terminal, located at the rear of the UPS
Thus, if you want to know when the UPS power is lost, you have to use PIN 1 (Common) and one of PIN 3 or 4 (AC fail), depending on whether you prefer NO or NC contact. If PINs 1 and 3 are used, the contact will be kept open and, when the UPS loses power, this contact will be closed giving continuity
The same happens with Battery low, PIN 1 will be used together with PIN 5 or 6
