Some Akuvox devices, including both video intercoms and access control units, feature a 12V output.
To configure and connect this output, follow these steps:
VIDEO INTERCOMS
Access the web interface through the device’s IP address.
Then, under the "Intercom --> Relay" tab, enable the "12V Power Out" function:
You can select "Always" to provide a continuous 12V output, or "Triggered By Open Relay" so that the 12V output is only activated when the relay is triggered.
The 12V output is provided between the GND and COM terminals:
NOTE: To use the 12V output, the device must be powered via DC 12V, not via PoE.
ACCESS CONTROLS
Access the web interface through the device’s IP address.
Then, under the "Access Control --> Relay" tab, enable the "12V Power Out" function:
Select "Always" in the "12V Power Output Enabled" field.
The 12V output is provided between the GND and COM terminals:
NOTE: The 12V output can be used whether the device is powered via PoE or DC 12V.
