When ever, access is needed to the IP cameras that are connected on LAN 2 of the NVR.
To get access, the installation needs to have a router with tunnel options.
What is a tunnel in a router?
When using a Reyee router, there is the option to create a tunnel.
The tunnel gives temporary direct access to the device, and this works in the same way as port forwarding. And is safer, for the client because the router creates and temporary IP address and a virtual port.
How to create a tunnel, you can read in the article: Reyee - How to create a tunnel using the Ruijie app
How to connect the cables?
The Red cables are the cables to connect to the Local LAN.
From the Router to LAN 1 from the NVR and the other one to the WAN from the Reyee Router.
The Blue cable are the cables that are connected to the LAN 2 from the NVR, the LAN from the Reyee Router and the Switch.
Note:
The LAN from the blue cables can not be in the same range as the LAN from the local network (the red cables)
With this setup, it is possible to use DHCP from the Reyee router (all blue cables)
