If a C (???) appears on the control keypad when the device is installed, this is due to incorrect activation or incorrect address.
You have to verify how the activation procedure has been done, and that the address inserted in the RIX Address menu is the same as that seen in the expander:
Also, once the expander address has been set, 8 alarm addresses must be stored for the 8 inputs. That is, if the expander address is set as 0, addresses 1-8 of the alarm will be available to the expander; this must be taken into account when having other devices wired to the control panel, since they cannot be assigned the address 0.
