First, the camera's temperature detection must be enabled. In this section, the temperature and distance measurement units must be set.
The temperature alarm interval and the execution delay time must also be set.
In this section, the estimated temperature of the environment must be set. This parameter is very important, as it will establish a reference for detecting the temperature of different objects.
In this section, an area can be established where the camera will omit temperature detection. First, it must be enabled and the desired area must be set. Remember that this is the area where the camera will NOT detect.
1- Enable the omission area.
2- Area preview.
3- Omission area.
Next, access the temperature alarm section. Here, the different detection areas and their different rules will be established.
The different rules include area activation, area type, thermal alarm type, alarm activation, the thermal pre-alarm value, the thermal alarm value, and the thermal alarm detection distance.
1- Temperature detection area.
2- Enable the detection area.
3- Detection area type.
4- Temperature alarm type.
5- Enable the alarm.
6- Pre-alarm temperature.
7- Alarm temperature.
8- Temperature alarm detection distance.
Next, the actions to be performed after confirmation of the thermal alarm must be set.
In this section, the thermal alarm operating schedule, alarm output activation, audio activation, and alarm recording must be taken into account. SMTP and FTP sending can also be enabled.
1- Enable the alarm output.
2- Enable the audible alarm.
3- Enable recording of the thermal event.
4- Alarm operating schedule.
In this screenshot, we can see the alarm configured to trigger when the established alarm temperature is exceeded.
1- Alarm operating correctly.
If we access the recordings section and filter by temperature alarm events, we can verify that the alarm has been stored in the camera's memory.
