The Uniview UV-IPS3xxx speakers allow you to play preloaded sounds or others that are manually loaded when you activate one of its alarm inputs.
The volume of the speaker is set from Audio-Audio:
The sounds that the horn has loaded are found and can be loaded more from the Audio-Audio file section.
- The first section of sounds are the preloaded sounds of the horn
- With the icon "?" you can check the requirements of the audio file you want to load
- With Batch Import you can select the file to load in the speaker
- The headphones icon is for listening to the audio in the PC headphones and the loudspeaker icon is for playing on the speaker
To have a sound played when one of the speaker inputs is activated, access the Alarm section, where it will be activated and the schedule will be set:
Next, the Alarm Sound tab is where you will choose the sound to play:
- Enable the checkbox
- Select the audio to be played
- Two playback modes can be selected
- By Play Count - Number of times to play the audio file
- By Duration - Time the audio file should be playing for

Speakers can be added to Uniview NVRs in the Peripheral-IP Speaker section
Once added, from the Audio File section you will have access to the audio files that the speaker has already been added or you can add new ones, as you would do with the webserver of the unit itself
