LR1002/LR1002-1ET/LR1002-1EC compatibility diagram
We can have an ePoE switch and an ePoE camera connected through coaxial cable, for that we are going to need an LR1002 by the switch's side and another by the camera's side.
Another option is to have an ePoE switch and use a PoE camera; for that we will need an LR1002 by the switch and, by the camera, a LR1002-1ET to transform its inputs and make the PoE standard of the camera understand them:
The other option is to have a normal switch and an ePoE camera, therefore you'll need need an LR1002-1EC on the switch side to transform the incoming signal into ePoE, and an LR1002 on the ePoE camera's side.
As a last option, if we don't have any ePoE device, we will have to use both the LR1002-1EC on the switch side and an LR1002-1ET on the camera side with standard PoE.
In conclusion, on ePoE devices we will need the LR1002 and on whatever we want to convert to ePoE we will need a transformer, like LR1002-1ET (for a camera) or LR1002-1EC (for switches).
