Sometimes we may be interested in having continuous recordings in our videorecorder's hard disk, as well as being able to visualize specific tags stressing when exactly there's been a motion detection within the continuous recordings.
In this first screen we have to activate the motion detection and determine the area we need to protect, in each channel of interest. Then let's save.
In the Arming Schedule tab within the motion detection configuration we can visualize a calendar, which is different from the one we have in the Storage section. This calendar simply turns the motion detection on and off. After choosing in which days/times we are interested in activating the motion recording, we have to save.
In the Linkage Method tab we indicate which camera we want to record, (usually the one from the same channel that makes the detection, although it is not mandatory). Then we save.
In the calendar we can find in Storage, we set up continuous recording. Note that it is possible to choose different types of recording on the same day depending on the schedule, from the Advanced tab.
In this way we have already reached our goal and we will be able, when entering the Playback menu, to notice the moments of the day characterized by a recording by movement detection since they will be marked with a different color from the rest of the continuous recordings.
